Say hello to the Very Collection…
My favourite time of year has arrived, and what better way to kick things off than with an Autumn wardrobe revamp involving some gorgeous pieces from the brand new, Very Collection? The Very Collection focuses on pieces that have been really thoughtfully designed keeping trends in mind, whilst having effortless wearability. The Very Collection is an extremely versatile range that includes key Autumn statement pieces, as well as the everyday essentials. So let’s dig into what I picked up…
Textured Wide Leg Trousers
These Textured Wide Leg Trousers can be bought as a co-ord, but also on their own. I opted for the trousers on their own as I’m obsessed with a comfy pair of trousers lately, and I just feel like they’re so easy to throw on with anything. I wear them with tank tops, long sleeved tops, or a plain tee, and then I love layering them up with cosy jumpers and cardigans. These textured trousers from the Very Collection are absolutely gorgeous, they’re so cosy and soft. They’ve quickly become an everyday staple!
Wool Crew Neck Cardigan
I fully believe that you can never have too many cardigans – I own approximately 2845 cardigans so what’s one more? I think a cardigan is such a staple in an Autumn wardrobe and this Wool Crew Neck Cardigan in Green is such a lovely addition. I like thre crew neck for that extra cosy touch on the colder days and it’s so soft. It pairs up lovely with absolutely everything.
Khaki Waxed Barn Jacket
Barn Jackets are such an Autumn must-have, so I had to get my mitts on this Khaki Waxed Barn Jacket from the Very Collection. It’s lovely and oversized, which makes it perfect for layering over all of those cosy jumpers and cardigans, and it’s super warm and snug. I love throwing this on for those bitter school runs in the mornings.
Wide Leg Jeans
My go-to jeans are always a pair of wide-leg, and I absolutely love the detail on these Mid-wash Wide Leg Jeans from Very. They’re the kind of jeans that you can wear with anything and the hem detailing adds a little something extra, so that they can be dressed up or down depending on what occasion you’re wearing them for.
Peter Pan Collar Tie Blouse
I don’t dress up very often, but I love having pretty pieces in my wardrobe for when I do. I chose this Peter Pan Collar Tie Blouse as I have a few events coming up over the next few months, and I think it’s such a beautiful blouse. The frill collar adds the most gorgeous detail to any outfit and I love that this works perfectly by itself, or it looks lovely layered up underneath a jumper or cardy. This could just as easily be worn day-to-day but with that little bit of sparkle, I love this for a party or evening dinner. It also works great with both jeans and a skirt, so versatile!
Suede Longline Waistcoat Top
Another pick for dressing up, I picked out this Suede Longline Waistcoat Top. I think this is super pretty for a smart-casual look if you want to look like you’ve made a bit more effort, without compromising on comfort. The suede material makes it feel so comfy and in brown it’s a gorgeous Autumn staple. It pairs lovely with the Waxed Barn Jacket for those Autumn evenings.
